Instructor:  Bob Donovan

Four years ago, with more than 10 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Photoshop, Bob became a computer instructor in the Lifelong Learning program.  He enjoys creating an interest in computers in his students and alleviating their computer fears.  He proudly recalls the student who came to his class who was not computer literate when he lost a managerial position because of his company relocating. After the class Bob received an email from the student saying that he had been hired as a manager at a local company where he utilizes Excel and Word.  Bob admires the persons responsible for GUI (Graphic User Interface).  As for the future, he sees new upgrades every year that make it easier for more people to become involved in computers.  Now at age 74, Bob has definitely overcome his fear of computers and “feels young in mind and excited about the upcoming years and what will be unveiled in the world of communication and electronics.”
